Post BMX self exam

This may not be the place to post this question but I know many in the DCIS had BMX. I went for my 6 month follow up last week and learned I've been examining wrong...actually all I had been doing was feeling around the scar and outer rim up in to the axilla because every time I feel them I feel something that worries me. The surgical oncologist showed me how they wanted me to do it then pointed out an area in my prophylactic side that "is the closest thing to abnormal but it's probably a suture line". So now I'm feeling it and there is a pea sized lump I can feel but is along a line.  I'm 3 months out from my exchange so I'm just not sure how to feel about the "think" part of it all. I see the PS this week and will address it with him but I feel sure he will be rushed and I'll be referred back to the surgical onco. anyone have similar concerns?  if so what did you do??

I've had the pea size lumps near the incision. My onco says its undissolved stitches. Mine are symmetrical so I don't worry about it. There are a couple of threads where many ladies have responded with the same thing. More than likely that is what it is.
