    I'm 35. Core bx results show invasive ductal. Help

    I just posted on the other area after doc called.  I'm so very sorry to hear you are officially part of the "club".  You at least can develop a treatment plan now. I know there is a section for Canadian women here and some of them are probably from your area and have good referrals for docs for you.  They are located here:

    there is an idc group on the board--I am sure they will give you some very specific advice. For now-- just know that once you have a plan (after you decide on your surgery) and you figure out what treatements work for you--- you will be on your way.  This is the hardest part right now where you don't have enough information but you are still worried.  If the anxiety becomes too much during this waiting period, ask your pcp for some ativan to  calm you down.....

    island mama..I'm sorry you have found yourself here...the women on here are so knowledgeable and such great listeners. like the women above have said..once you get details and a plan you can take a breath..it become clearer and you get ready for the fight. Strangely enough you become stronger..I know that's not how you are feeling but you will. Make sure to take someone with you to your doctors appointments...so they can be your ears..hang in there..xo
