New pain??

Hi All!
Previous medical history that could possibly pertain to this = Bilateral Dorsi Lat Flap 1/31/14, scheduled for exchange at the end of this month.
I have been having semi-severe rib cage pain, lower back pain following, on my right side. In my ribs, it feels like they are being pushed out at times. The back pain, when pressed on a hard surface, feels like someone is putting their fist in my back. CT scheduled for Wednesday.
I'm concerned mainly about reconstructive stuff vs metastasis. Any thoughts or related experiences?
