Hi there!! Hoping to get some info from anyone who has experience with the TAC (Taxotere, Adrymiacin & Cytoxan) regimen with neulasta shot...I have my 1st treatment on Monday (actually just 5 hours from now...clearly not sleeping well lol!) and am finding that the closer I get the more anxiety I have...just wondering what all to expect and approx what days and what limitations (if any) regarding day to day life with house, husband, kids, dogs, cats, etc...Lol!! Ok and who am I kidding?!? I love food so I'd love advice in that dept as well :-) I know everyone's treatment is very individualized so there are no guaranteed answers until I experience it for myself but I thought it might be helpful to hear from others who've had the same treatment...So many questions (I'm sure I have a TON more! In fact let's just add dental care to that list as well) so little time...Lol!! Thank you all so much!!! :-)

You should do just fine since you seem young. I am 37 and did not have any major issues. The first 3 days after chemo you will be high on steroids so you will feel great. But after that you may experience a mild crash. I hope you get good nausea meds like Emend. As far as food, the taste changes and mouth sores came later in treatment for me, so don't worry about them just yet. Drink your liquids and you will do great.

Chemo is doable but is different for each person.
