Femara. Hair. Question for women who have finished it...

Hello all,

Anyone out there who went through femara and had hair thinning and finished...Did your hair get back to normal?

Hi Meshell - I finished femara last July.  I'd developed a bit of a bald spot on the crown of my head, and now that seems to have filled in some.  My hair is still thin there, but not quite as thin as it was.  My hairdresser even commented last time that he noticed it seemed better, so there seems to be some hair benefit to finishing femara.

i changed to aromasin after a year on femara, now have thick lustrous hair some nine months later but hair started improving almost immediately

That's encouraging  Lily55! : ) Love hearing that after stopping it your hair became long and lustrous!

Maybe I should ask my Oncologist about aromasin...

I have always had thick hair but the strangest thing happened to me 4 years after starting Femara, my bangs stopped growing, the rest of my hair grew normally. I finished a couple of months ago and my bangs started growing again except at the side like where a man would have the balding pattern well that part hasn't started to grow yet but it curls and I can't control it.

Can anyone share info on this topic now? Any hair regrowth after stopping femara or letrozole?
