Jramick,
I also went and read your post, and you are not just discussing night sweats. You repeatedly ask about symptoms of mets and could this be mets, etc. There is a forum right under the stage 4 forum that is for people concerned about mets and their symptoms. It was put there because we were being bombarded with questions like yours.
I have a feeling that is why you are not getting a lot of responses. A lot of us have little desire to keep going over what can be signs of mets and reassuring early stage women that their symptoms are not mets.

funny how everyone is talking about needs/rights to expression etc... except when it comes to me..
my points are valide to me.. and if not have a decent convo with me about it instead of judging my carector...
I have no problem admitting when i am wrong... i have not judged anyone.. the most ive doe is said bessie and others disaponted me.
the rest of my issues has do with the forum rules etc..
the drama keeps coming up because either im not expressing right or most of you cantsee past the emotion of the moment..
i have no issues with any member... though it seems some have issues with me... i apologise for any hurt feelings ..it wasnt my intent.
my issues are concerning the set up... its not a personal insult to the mods... or to any member old or new, that i DISSAGREE with the way its set up...
but..
its seems tyhat by having a different point of view ...ivce insulted people..
that to me screams of clics, discrimination and drama...
do you think im doing this cuz i want to hurt ppl? create chaos or do damage to the forum? if you do then you dont know me and have not fully understood what i have posted.
im not the only one with this complaint but i am the only one taking straight about it....
in marketting, you learn that if one person sends a letter of complaint itr represents an average of others who feel the same way but dont right a letter..in my experience the ratio is usualy 1 letter represents 100 viewpoints....
so....
keep ignoring this problem... i'll eventualy go away...but your problem wont...
so other out spoken loud mouth will make a stink about it again in a few months...
as a bc patient we should all realise that ignoring an issue does not make it go away...
can we have constructive discussion about this? or shall we just revert to bashing and bullying?

Celine, I do understand what you are trying to do and I say more power to you for trying to make a difference here. At least it can give all members pause and think about how we respond to each other regardless of groups or numbers or types....often when complaints are made suggestions do not follow. I appreciate the thought, time, and work you have put into this. I did read your post that you just started also.
Laurie.....this is just MY point!!! The sentences in my post under night sweats with question marks were rhetorical. I am Triple Negative and there is a TNS only forum. I, however hope that I am compassionate enough to offer help, suggestions, request information, be encouraging in ALL rooms regardless of a number or type which each member has. I hope I never "get tired" of any of it!!!! If someone is in an ONLY room and they are labelled differently, I believe they have the freedom and a purpose for being there!!!!!
The DISEASE does not discriminate no matter who you are, what your stage is, what your type is, what your fame status is, or financial statement or what room you are in. METS does not discriminate nor do symptoms.
This whole issue started over the Amy Rohbach thread. Personally, I do not wish this disease on anyone and hope I would never cuss out anyone who has it no matter what they say about their struggles or their outcomes with this disease.
-
Seems to me this whole site IS the place to bombard with questions even if they are not rhetorical. I guess certain questions are off limits in certain rooms?? MAybe BCO should post a list of questions we are only allowed to ask.

Celine: I haven't chimed in before now, but I caught one of your posts, and have since been reading. You really need to figure out what you're doing and why. It's not just a matter of you putting out a different viewpoint. It's that you've put out your viewpoint, and then when people don't agree, you get really upset. You've also put out your viewpoint repeatedly and in places where it is not appropriate.
Feeling discriminated against? Left out? Really? Stage 4 is not a club. It is not a religious group. People who are there do not want to be there. I suspect any one of them would gladly trade places with you, in terms of cancer status, and let you post all you want on the stage 4 forum. Women on that forum are trying their best to cope through the support of others also going through the same thing, and while i sometimes read the posts because there are women I care deeply about who are stage 4, I do not post. Complaining about the Stage 4 forum rules, because after all you have had breast cancer, too, strikes me as both petty and lacking empathy.
Don't you have something better to do?
-
That's the point! Stage 4 is not a club! We all could die tomorrow from this disease! While I try to be respectful entering ONLY rooms, I hope to be treated with respect in return.
-
The mods have made their current position clear. This has become completely unproductive. To keep starting thread after thread on the same subject suggests that you are having difficulty accepting the fact that you are not receiving the groundswell of support you had hoped for. I hope the mods continue to close these threads.

IMHO, I think we are officially entering into "Feeding the Troll" territory by continuing to entertain this nonsense.
