RVing while on Chemo - question on black water tanks

Okay, weird question and haven't been able to find an answer.

We have an RV and I run dog agility trials as a part time business.  I will be running 4 trials while on chemo (first 3 while on A/C, 4th while on Taxol) and I always take the RV.  This year hubby will be driving and stay with me on those weekends (I usually drive it myself, but not risking driving it while I am so tired).  I will be grateful to have it as it will mean I can just go back to the RV and sleep when I need to :-)   All of the agility clubs that I deal with are being very understanding which is wonderful.

Question ... anyone know if the A/C or T are harmful to the onboard toilet facilities or black water tanks?  Hubby was wondering if the chemo drugs are toxic or harmful to plastics or rubber ... we know they can be harmful to skin :-)

I can't answer your question regarding your RV's toilet plastics but the chemo drugs come in an IV bag which I assume is a plastic.  The IV lines are plastic too.

Thank you Marple ...  that is what I am thinking as well.  Hubby is dewinterizing the RV right now which is what made him think of it :-)

The concentrations are so low that I would be astounded if that were something to worry about. Also the body probably eliminates most of the chemo within a day or two, which probably cuts the concentrations to even lower levels.

Slawson had the same (AC/T) chemo and we went to the mountains in a trailer (hiding from the desert heat) while she was still on the post chemo 'roid buzz....no (trailor) plumbing problems.....

What breed of dogs?  We have fostered Belgians.

    Thank you Eric

I have a border collie mix.  Had a old border collie girlie, but lost her just a couple of weeks ago between my last surgery and before I started chemo.  2014 hasn't been a good year so far!!
