I have no insurance and go for genetic counseling tomorrow morning. I have applied and been denied for Medicaid. The Healthcare.gov is more expensive than buying straight from the insurance company which is $376 a month, I can not afford! I have also applied for financial aid at the hospital. I am more worried about paying for this than the actual surgery. Can anyone offer advice? I was told that the doctors had to see me but when I went to see the surgeon I had to pay up front in order to see him.

You may want to check with the American Cancer Society or any local charitable organizations such as the Susan G. Komen foundation.  You may also want to talk to the social services at the hospital to see what other organizations may be able to help you.
