Hi Ladies- Last year I opted to have breast reconstruction done. I had a lumpectomy with radiation 5 years ago and decided to reconstruct with implants. I first had a tissue expander, then had my first exchange done. This went well until a small scab on my incision line came off prematurely and exposed my implant. I went back for a second surgery where the wound was debrided, my pocket was washed and a new implant was put in on February 20th. Everything was going great and healing well until Saturday. I spit a stitch which left a tiny hole, so I put some antibiotic ointment on it and covered it with guaze hoping it would close up. Nope, it opened up a little more and I can see the implant again. I am so completely bummed out. Do you think they will make me have surgery again or can a more conservative approach be used? The hole is much smaller than the one I had the first time. Any and all advice is much appreciated!!!!
