I'm HOPING to be a 'success' story! lol.

BMX, TE's as my PS said rarely do women get to go direct to implants - those with large breasts or already had implants are the candidates she said and I am neither of those. I was a full C cup in my youth, but saggy at age 58. :(

Did fills during chemo. Then for rads I had to have one unfilled due to the angle of the beam and prior rads on other breast and they didn't want it re-radiated. So I am one filled and one deflated. It's hard being so lopsided.

The TE is very uncomfortable on my deflated, previously radiated, side.

I can be re-filled when I am done with rads at the end of Sept.

I can have the exchange 6 months after that

I have my nipples but of course no sensation.

Occasionally I cry but am happy to be alive after 2 bouts of BC.

    J~
