research, research, research....for the best plastic surgeons who do nothing but breast cancer reconstructing.  New Orleans center is great; Charleston also.  A lot of women travel from home when they can to these centers. Not sure what city you are in but ask around.  Also, there is a picture forum of before, during and after ....of ladies on these boards that you can ask to be a part of.  There are all sorts of forums on these boards that can help you make your decision.

I had reconstruction, exchange surgery, CV flap nipple reconstruction and then tattoos by Vinnie Myers.  Very pleased with the results.  Actually, the new girls look better than the old ones and the scars are almost non existent .  Of course, I would rather have my real ones any day without disease but just glad to be moving forward .......

Glad you are through the treatment part .  Ask questions and these ladies will be glad to help you through the next step process.  Good luck!

If you find a good surgeon you can have great results!  I was worried too, but I my surgeon was a rockstar and my foobs look very real.  If the scar was not there, you would think they were real.  I even got areolas and nipples.  Do research.  Get more than one opinion from different surgeons.  Talk to patients that have used that surgeon (some will give you patients you can call and talk to).  Good luck!

Currently researching this same issue and sometimes I feel we read too many of the bad stories as success stories don't appear to be posted as often as the problems/issues we are having.   Try posting an entry asking for surgeon recommendations in your area, I found this extremely helpful when I asked in the Michigan Ladies forum.
