Mine was painless, all over very quickly.  I didn't feel a thing after the numbing injection.

Bruised for weeks afterwards though, although it was just unsightly as opposed to painful.

    Good luck xxx

I was nervous for mine, but it wasn't bad.  There was some stinging/poking from the numbing injections but I didn't feel any pain from the actual biopsies. My Dr told me to tell him if I had any pain and he would inject more numbing meds, plus he asked often through the whole procedure how I was doing.  Hope yours goes smoothly!

Nancy, I was nervous, who wouldn't  be right? The needle was painless, the ultra sound wand was uncomfortable to me. Seemed like a lot of pressure, trying to find my small but aggressive tumor. I think it depends on where they are pushing on, and how deep the tumor is.

Oddly enough, I have a ultra sound tomorrow on my axillary. A inflamed node got left behind. I have been stressing over it since last July, so they are going to look at it. I got upset about it during rads, otherwise I do not think they would be looking at it.

Good Luck, I hope you get b9 results...
