Axillary Node Involvement

Besides swelling, does anyone know if there are other symptoms of axillary node involvement?

I don't think there are usually any symptoms - I think even swelling is rare. Shows up on sentinel node biopsy - that's all I know.

Swelling can be a symptom but it is not definitive in terms of a diagnosis. Don't assume that if you have axillary swelling that you have positive nodes. Only a biopsy can tell you for sure.

yes only biopsy can tell. Mine was macro and mri missed it

I had a small lump on my left breast since last June then felt a large lump under my left armpit. An ultrasound biopsy indicated that there were cancer cells however I also know that swelling can appear for many other things.
