Cancerous Lymph Fluid?

shortly after I stopped my last chemo I started having painful swelling from under my arm to the center of my chest, above my scar line. I assumed it was LE and have been waiting 2 months to get into the LE clinic. Meanwhile they have determined 2 nodules in my lung to be malignant. I had a PET after my biopsy to determine treatment plan. My axilla and chest wall lit up and they said it was due to radiation changes. After I left, I started wondering if this fluid in those areas could be cancerous, thus lighting up on the PET. None of it started until chemo was complete. I know LE can strike at any time but the timing is scaring me now. I have no real issues with my arm.  The spot on my chest wall fluctuates in size. It is about the size of my palm and goes from being fairly flat to raised 1-2 inches. I intend to ask the MO about this at my next appointment but that is three weeks out. I have not been able to find much info from searches. I am having the lung nodules removed on Tuesday.
