I found a lump in breast. Biopsies showed triple negative breast cancer. PET scan showed several ancillary nodes and 2 pectoralis lymp nodes involved. Also showed a couple spots behind lungs that could be early spreading or just inflammation but they can't biopsies area so don't know. Also showed a spot on cervix (suv 6 ?) went to GYN and they took a biopsies which is not resulted yet but dr. Says he is 99% sure it is cervical cancer. They say it is very unlikely to be mets from breast cancer. They are going to do a weekly combination chemo regimen that will hopefully fight both cancers then I will have mastectomy and hysterectomy then radiation. They Have staged breast cancer as 3 b but have not staged cervical yet. MRI of my brain is scheduled for Tuesday!!! Anyone out there have any advice or similar circumstances???

I don't have any advice but wanted to let you know that things will settle down some once you get some answers and a treatment plan in place. I did have cervical cancer way back in 1978 but it was carcinoma in situ so very very early and did not need any chemo or further treatment after they did a cone biopsy. Now they know what causes most cervical cancer and know how to better treat it. Best of luck to you and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
