BRCA2+, Triple negative, stage IV?

Hi,

I am curious to know if there are other women here with this dx, that are willing to share their experiences?

I was first dx with bc in 2003 at age 31.  Had mastectomy and reconstruction but no chemo or radiation.  Went on Tamoxifen.

Dx on my other breast in 2008, 8 nodes affected.  Also dx with BRCA2+ at that time.  Mastectomy, chemo and radiation.  Had my ovaries removed in 2010 and vent to trim flap reconstruction in 2011.

Dx with mets to spine in march 2012.  Had radiation and did 1 year on gemzar and carboplatin.  Have been on a pause for a year now, but latest scans show progression so I am heading to treatment again.

I really don´t want to see myself at the end-station right now.  I am a mother of 2 girls who still need me, not to mention my lovely husband.  Would really like to hear from others out there what has been working and what not.  Have you f.ex. been doing some alternative treatments?
