I am a 60 year old widow.  I am not interested in finding a mate at my age, but it would be nice to have the support and love of my husband who has been gone 18 years

    Hi, I lost my husband in an accident 10 months ago. Diagnosed in February. I know what you mean about support. Would sure be nice to have him around to walk through this with me.

    I was diagnosed last Monday and just joined this site. I'm a 57-year-old widow.  My late husband died of brain cancer (glioblastoma) 8 years ago, and I saw him through a trying 2-year fight.  

    I really miss him now because I know he'd be doing all the wonderful things for me that I did for him.  My older two kids are married (living nearby) and my youngest is about to go back to college. My surgery is scheduled for Sept. 4.  I'm very fortunate to have my grown children and lots of friends to help me though this!
