    Hi Nina,

What shampoo & conditioner or other products do you use on your Bennett wig to make it move like real hair & be swingy & bouncy & fall back into place when you move the hair around?

    Thank you,

    MiMi10

    Hi MiMi10,

We are just chiming in here, as we see that Nina hasn't been active on the boards for awhile. You may want to call the company's customer service for their advice on you wig.

Or, any other members have suggestions?

I use to wash mine with wig shampoo but what worked the best was to steam it it came out looking beautiful.

    Hi Nina--

I have a human hair wig. I wash it myself using some salon shampoo and conditioner. It's not too hard to care for. I also have a synthetic wig, and the human hair wig is by far the more comfortable. I've been wearing the human hair wig nearly full time for 4 months. I wash it in warm water in the sink, rinse it with more warm water. Then wrap it gently in a towel for a few minutes. Then very gently add conditioner starting from the tips of the hair, using a wide-tooth comb. I don't let the conditioner go all the way to the roots.

After it's combed out, I let it air dry on the wig stand.

With the steam instead of shampooing, would that work on any type of wig?

I am specifically talking about something like this:

    http://www.godivassecretwigs.com/lace-front-wigs/

Those are the ones with the little lace in the front that hides the absence of a hairline.

Does that lace need to be washed? Will steam do?

    Help please!
