Momonana6, I'm so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. There is a thread in the Stage IV forum for those with lung mets.

I'm sorry, I can't put the link here (I'm just not good with tech stuff) but it shouldn't be hard to find.

Best of luck with your treatments.

    Leah

Momonana, so very, very sorry to hear about your mets. It must be even more surreal than the first diagnosis - my heart goes out to you at this time. Please know you are in my prayers. I echo Leah's suggestion to hit the Stage IV mets to lung threads to learn all you can. I wish you only the best, sweetie.

I am a 3 and a half year survivor. i originally had stage II breast cancer, but now it has mets to my lung so it is Stage IV now. I have been in a clinic trial using Sorafenib and Femara. It has been working for me so far!! Lots of side effects, but Stage IV breast cancer does not mean a death sentence!!! There are alot of options out there. Don't get discouraged and STAY POSITIVE!!! Staying positive is a big part of the battle!!! Keep going until you find a doctor that will listen to you and give you options!! The first oncologist I went to told me I had no options and that I should get my affairs in order!!! I did not like that comment, so I found another doctor that put me in this clinic trial. Here I am 3 and a half years later!! I will be a long term survivor!!! I have a 9 year old daughter and I need to see her graduate college and I WILL!!!!!!
