Very knowledgeable about LE DR

Thurs I saw a Dermotologist about my skin lesions and was really surprised how knowledgeable he was about LE.

In July, I had 3 lesions biopsied and then removed (a BCC, a SCC and a SCIS) but had not seen the Dermotologist then.  A couple of other places had shown up since so got another appt.  This time I actually saw the Dermatologist and was really surprised how knowledgeably he  is on LE.  Before we talked about my skin issues, we talked about my IBC and then spent quite a while about my LE.  He wasn't asking me questions to gain info for himself but were obviously designed to be sure I was under control and getting the care/support I should have.

I was suprised at how many spots he found that he wanted to freeze/burn off as I hadn't noticed them.  He did 2 biopsies, 1 I expected but the other I didn't realise was there that was the one he seemed the most concerned about (he burned 1 I thought would be biopsied).  Just waiting now for path for TX if needed.  But at least I have to see him in 6 mths (or before IF 'something' developes).

Sorry for High-Jacking and writing about SC but I thought it made sense to pass on that there are DRs who are knowledgeable about LE even though many aren't.
