hi ladies, I'm experiencing a pulsating feeling in my left armpit (my non affected side) and slight pins and needles feeling in my left hand. I have no lymph nodes on right and can't remember what feels normal! It's a dull pain but more just irritating.  I had a double mx with right lymph nodes removed. About 6 months ago i could feel an enlarged lymph. Got it checked but biospy showed no cancer cells. Surgeon put it down to surgery trauma. Obviously i worry about reoccurrence and am wondering if cancer is likely to show up in non affected side lymph nodes? Did feel this same irritation when I had chemo arm port in. Don't have app with bs until end of April.  I've been doing really well,  last scans 6months ago were clear. It's amazing how pain can resurrect all those feelings of fear again.  Anyone any thoughts?

hi Lilly.  Have you been checked for blood clots?  I had and still have that feeling around my port. I had a clot near my port and in both arms. I also get these sensations in my calves recently, though when they checked my legs last year, I had no clots in my legs. Just a thought.

thanks delirium Pie, I hadn't thought about clots. Just remember having this same feeling in my armpit first time around and ignoring it and turned out to be cancer. Will give clinic a ring and get it checked.

I have the same feeling...and I'm wondering the same thing - is it possible to be reoccurrence...My last PET was june 2013 and everything was normal.

Just an update if you guys are experiencing same pain. Had ultrasound today and the doctor couldn't see anything abnormal with my lymph nodes and checked for blood flow to rule out clots. All seems normal to him. Bs is giving me some special kind of painkillers for nerve pain but we are doing an mri to have a look deeper but the thought is that it is some nerve damage. Its easier to ignore the pain now knowing nothing has popped up in my lymph nodes. Thanks for replies :-)
