Burning sensation

hello,  i just completed chemo 2 weeks ago and have my double mastectomy scheduled for tuesday.  The last few days i have had a slight burning sensation on my cancer side and sometimes some tingling/pain my my breast.   I had similar sensations at the start of my chemo and my doctor said it was the chemo killing the cancer cells.  So now of course i wonder if the cancer cells are rapidly multiplying now that chemo is over.

    Hbollinger, was it just the cancer dying ? I am going through the same thing and I am so worried. My whole breast is painful ..... tender to touch and has burning sensations. It also appears to be slightly swollen.
