I've had no appetite for the last two days and was stressed after the biopsy and complications.  I'm small and have lost 4lbs.  I don't need to lose weight.  Today I asked my Dr. for something, and she gave me a short low dose course of anti-anxiety.  Does it get better once you have a plan of action?

I'm from TX and they have MD Anderson.  I reached out to a local friend today that had been through this to ask who her surgeon was.  I'm glad I did, I didn't realize MD Anderson is here too.  She had me call them to get the ball rolling, so I have an in-take with them on Friday.  I could have gone tomorrow, but I go over all my results tomorrow and the friend has an appointment at MD Friday so she is going to show me around.

Hi Momto3boysaz, I am so sorry you're having a rough time, but yes, once you have a plan it does get better.

Everyone here agrees that the waiting is brutal, we don't do fear of the unknown well!

I think it is fairly normal to lose weight with the stress. It is really great that you have friend who has been through this, to guide you through, that's a huge bonus.

All I can say is try to be kind to yourself, ask all the questions you need to, and come here often if you need to vent or want support. There will always be someone around. Take care now and let us know how you get on.
