Hi! My mother and identical twin sister were diagnosed with breast cancer and are BRCA2 positive. I tested positive for the mutation also and was then diagnosed at age 33 while 19 weeks pregnant with stage 1a grade 2 breast cancer. I am borderline estrogen and progesterone + HER2 -.

I had a bilateral mastectomy 0/26 lymph nodes (only on right side as there was no cancer on left). I have been taking tamoxifen although we've lowered my dose to 10mg because I am unable to tolerate 20mg.

Ive seen several doctors including a BRCA specialist who've told me to have another baby if I want to because the likelihood of the breast cancer being anywhere else in the body is almost non existent. I had a full body CT scan 2 months after delivery of my beautiful and healthy son and they did not see any hot spots.

Just curious if there's anyone in a similar situation who went on to have children. Any thoughts?

Thank you!

My concern is for ovarian cancer as well. However to our knowledge there have been no cases of ovarian disease...

I am trying to have a child and I am 33 as well. Never been pregnant started trying Oct. 2013 and no such luck yet. I have missed my period but test came up negative,  I'm bloating and my back was sore this morning like it felt during chemotherapy.  Been going through horrible mood swings and hot flashes.  Scared I am i early Menopause. Praying and hoping I'm Pregnant. Any one else get pregnant but have negative tests?
