High markers - worried

Hi all

my mother diagnosed in late2011 with Stage 3C she did surgery and after that chemo (8 times) and rads (20 times)

she was feeling ok  and onc see her every 3 months . he asked for blood test for one session and ultra sound for the other so every year, 4 times check up (2 blood tests and 2 ultra sounds/mammography). she also take femora daily

everythin was ok til 2 days ago the result of Blood test was not good. CEA=30 (normal is under 5 i think) CEA 15-3 =112 (normal is under 30) and its ESR is also high. she also has some pain sometimes in her chest. her ultrasound showed nothin last time and her blood test which was abt 6 months ago was in normal range (except ca15-3 which was 32)

we really worry about recurrence to lung and ..

the onc ask for a total bone scan she will do it tomorrow..

any similar exprience?

Hi there just wanted to let tou know we are here for support. While i dont have experience with what you described I know someone with a similar experience or knowledge will be along soon to chime in.

today she did total bone scan tomorrow we will get the result but the person who did the scan told us there is nothing special in her scan. we feel really better today.

on Thursday we will get the second blood result. we hope TMs come back to normal range
