wishing you good luck. Which arm are you on?
-
Thanks.. It does look interesting.. that's why I worked VERY hard to get in and drive 4.5 hours each way for treatment.. I am on the last arm. with Herceptin and Cytoxan.. wondering what to expect.. My Onc has mentioned quite a few success stories, but I am only the third to start this particular arm.. So far I'm feeling more or less human but it's only been one cycle..

Hi Friends, My doctor (in DC) is proposing that I enter the MM302 trial. I "failed" herceptin plus perjeta, and also Kadcyla. Would love to hear from anyone on MM-302. How are side effects? Did the treatment slow your progression?
-
Hi. I am still on it.. and NED on my organs.. progression to brain but it doesn't cross to the brain.. So It is a very very good trial.. Minimal Side effects for me. Just some lower blood counts a bit of nausea the next day.. VERY do-able!!

Hello,
I am due to start on MM-302. Can you tell me how it was for you?

Hi. I'm still on it. No issues really other than a slight dip in red counts but I've been on it for 2.5 years. I always do extra 500cc SALINE before the infusion. Also started getting mouth sores so I suck on ice starting 15 min before all the way during and 15 min after the infusion that lasts an hour. Good luck

Thanks for sharing this trial with us!
I don't keep close track of clinical trials, but am intrigued to hear from participants.
MM-302 Plus Trastuzumab vs. Chemotherapy of Physician's Choice Plus Trastuzumab in HER2-Positive Locally Advanced/Metastatic Breast Cancer Patients (HERMIONE)

makmak, thank you for sharing your experience. I was looking for this trial for my wife who is ER-/PR-, Her2+, too. Unfortunately , HERMIONE trial has stopped 2 days ago. Patients currently enrolled in the trial may choose to continue on their assigned treatment based upon discussion with their study physician. Apparently they found MM302 performing no better than other drugs , yet I think it might be beneficial for those patients who failed on herceptin/perjeta/kadcyla.
Are you still getting MM302 + Herceptin + Cytoxan? Was there any benefit for you (like ie has your tumor shrunk in size)?
(sorry for the plain text below. I'm not allowed to post links yet)

Oh I didn't know it had stopped. And, I am still on the drug. They only did Cytoxan for the first 4 cycles. I've just finished my third year and my tumors are gone. I am so sad.. I was hoping they would release the drug as it has done well for me..
