Swear to god this is a real story. !974. In the hospital I worked in. This private duty nurse turned a ventilator off to give the guy a rest. It ended up okay, but the nurse was ushered out of the hospital.

Oh that Grandma texting gave me a real chuckle. A few weeks ago my next door neighbour (ASIDE: Do we have an acronym for that...DNDN?) needed a new phone as her old one had died. She is 76 and her 2 (perfectly lovely, kind) adult children decided to buy it for her. She asked for a simple, straightforward, no frills one so that she would be able to manage it without too much trouble. Previous phone was not a smartphone and she didn't want a smartphone. Guess what they bought her???? An iphone 6! First we heard of this was when she called in in distress to know if DS might be able to give her some lessons for which she insisted on paying him despite that he was very happy to help out. THEN we got another call in great distress that she had run through €35 worth of credit in a couple of days, how was this possible? Turns out she wasn't connecting to wifi so was getting charged every time she turned on. I know her children meant really well, but I don't think they LISTENED to her.
God to Adam:
"I have here a woman. She is radiantly beautiful and serene at all times and in all circumstances. She will cook for you, clean for you, attend to your every need. Your wish is her command. And you will never hear a complaint pass her lips"
Adam:
"What will it cost me?"
God:
"An arm and a leg"
Adam:
"What can I get for a rib?"

Kitties with their babies. Yes they should be spayed and neutered but it's not their fault and they ARE adorable.

We had 2 cats come into the shelter that were just like the black and white ones in the photo. We decided a child had named them: Blackie & Whitie. They were always in each others arms and were adopted together.

Yes.... I know about when Daughter's want us to get some high-falootin' cell phone, tablet, or whatever! I HATE to text... I included 300 texts in a monthly plan.... I used 4....! I still have a land-line, a cell-phone for emergencies, but sometimes I just don't "mind" when Daughter's think I should do things.... AND I have a computer for emails! I'm all technified as I can get...........
Cancelled the text plan, went back to just a basic cell-phone, paying $15 a month for 150 minutes through Sprint. Now I am simplified.....
LOVE the pictures......
