Thanks for the kind thoughts! Love the kiwifruit heart! Great posts one and all. The hummingbird made me laugh out loud. And nap runneth over.
Feline - love the shrew story and picture. I have this image of you guys chasing Arthur and the shrew. We've had the same with mice a few times. Frida is a great mouser. Lucy is great at finding the dead mice that Frida has done in and bringing them into the house. Not so great with the live ones. Which is ok!
As posted earlier, sorry to have been away from this thread - just lost it for a while (so to speak). Here's a pic of Mittens to make up for my absence. She is getting so big! Over 2 kg now and a total hoon.

My husband is trying to check his email, but Mittens and Tom decided he had something better to do. They've been that way for about 30 minutes so far.

Awwwwwwwww! So sweet!

Kiwi, Those kittens are gorgeous and your husband is cute too.
-
Thanks Chevy and MusicLover. My husband is a wonderful cat daddy!
-
Awww...and I am not a cat person....sorry all cat lovers
-
Yeah and a good one at that. I have always preferred dogs because I grew up with a pet dog but I appreciate the beauty of cats.

Awwwwww Kiwi, they're all so cute!
Loverly, I prefer dogs too, but wouldn't mind having a cat.

LOL@girl's night. Love it.
I love dogs and cats. And alpacas. And and and. Just love animals, full stop. However, my husband is a cat person. He doesn't mind dogs, but is a cat daddy. I'd have a dog if I was home full time, but being gone 12 to 14 hours a day for work and doing business travel - it wouldn't be fair to the dog. Maybe when I retire.
So...glad you all put up with my kitten pics even if you prefer dogs. Will hunt around for dog pics to post too!

love the girl's night!

You guys are busy. Been away from the thread for two days so I could get the house ready for grandson's visit. He came through the doors from immigration and customs and when he saw me gave a big shout out "nana" and ran over and gave me a big hug. Made my day. We had a super soaker battle and he won at the very end getting the last of the water from the bucket. Soaked me when my head was down looking at the pitiful amount left.
Chevy I remember the drive ins and having your food brought to you by girls on skates. Used to get cherry cokes at the drug store's soda fountain. Canfield makes a diet chocolate fudge soda. It's not bad.

love the "invisible" cat
