You might remember a while back I posted about kittens who had been rescued and who were in bad shape: ringworm, worms, fleas, conjunctivitis, dehydrated, starving. Well....what a difference a month makes! Hope the "before" pic doesn't upset anyone too much. The super six have not only survived, but they are thriving and free of ringworm - and nearly read for adoption!

More of the super six

DD Janie, works in the Floral Dept at King Soopers.... So here is Mama Goose, with her first little hatchling.... today on Mother's Day! Janie is so proud! She lays her eggs in the empty flower planters, last year, and again this time...... When they are all hatched, they have to call the Arvada Police Department to escort them out of the parking lot, stop traffic on busy Ward Road, so all the "Gooses" can cross that 5 lane BUSY street, so they can go over to the LAKE! Both Mama and Papa Goose take turns keeping the eggs warm.... they had their work cut out for them lately!
They are protected.... Canadian Geese, so no-one can fool with them... or hurt them, or try and move them... They take video's about their trek across the busy road.... Ha! It would be MUCH simpler if she would just lay her eggs by the lake! All the customers are always taking pictures, and asking about their progress....

I just CAN'T post a picture from FB onto here! I don't know what I am doing wrong... Sorry, but if you copy, then paste that link, you should see the goose... es.... Ha!
