survival rate with HER-2 breast cancer stage 1-2 GRADE 3

im 70 female, 194lbs. whats my chances of surviving this

    Depends on size, whether there is or isn't node involvement, hormone receptors, type of breast cancer etc. If it is stage 1-2, then it is still early stage unless you have node involvement. Because your are HER2+, you will likely need chemo + Herceptin, both of which you need. If you are hormone +, then an anti-hormonal med is also of great benefit. Your chances are good.

    Herceptin has done wonders for us HER2 ladies. I am 3years out of treatment and back to teaching fitness classes and feeling stronger everyday. It is a long process when you are given a HER2 diagnose but it is doable. I also had spread to 5 nodes and was Grade 3. I also suffer from RA. treatments for HER2 have come a long way and there are tons of survivors. Also, check out the HER2 boards. All the best in your treatments,
