Hello !

I am 38. In August 2013 I started neoadjuvant chemo 6xTAC, following double mastectomy (right side - prophylactic, left side - with 10 lymph node removal (5 were positive)). Now I`m going throught radiation therapy 25x, 2 weeks after radiation I`m planning full hysterectomy.

Looking for survival stories to keep up  my optimistic mood. I have 2 kids - 2.9 and 1,1 years.

Is anyone else with similar datas :) ?

My friend is 14 years out......stage 3c...  all node taken were +.....mastectomy, rads and chemo. Another friend is 3 years out.....stage 3a, lumpectomy, rads, chemo 6/12 + nodes. It is very hard, especially since you have kiddies.......but new stuff on the horizon gives us all hope! Best wishes sent your way and enjoy your babies!!!!

    Hi leva,

We have similar stats.... i'm 39 and have 3 kids. 13,11, and 4. Had my 3rd taxol chemo on Monday. Hair is falling out now. Other than that not many side effects. Hang in there and take it one step at a time.

    Hi everybody!

    Thanks for sharing your stories!

I'm now in hospital after total hysterectomy (ovaries + uterine)  3 days ago. 1st day and night I was vomiting many times, 2nd night I slept like baby (sleep remedies), 3rd night I didn't sleep very well, but no pain. And in the morning I realized - it is menopause!!! I am also taking Tamoxifen now.

    Hello...

I have similar stats to many of you.  So thankful to read your survival stories, this gives me hope!   I have completed Dose dense chemotherapy and am in my second week of radiation, 4 out of 25 completed.  Oh, I'm 52 years old.

I was diagnosed April 4th 2013.  Did chemo X 6 months, rads x 7 weeks, DMX Feb 17th, original tumor 6.5cm, surgery only 1.5 left, 1/4 nodes with 6mm cancer.  So I was 3a ER 100%, PR 80%. I have cribriform IDC so prognosis is good.  On Tamoxifen now and having ovaries and tubes out in May, already had a hysterectomy 6 years ago.
