Question about chest appearance

Options

So, I had my biMX on 11/27 and initially had TE's in and it all went to hell. I have since had my TE's taken out due to infection and my chest looks bizarre. I still look like I have some fat where my breasts once were, it's not completely flat. I asked my PS about this and she said it was because they left extra skin during mx because of reconstruction, and also some is just fat. I'm probably over thinking this, but I feel so mishapen and disfigured like this and I any type of reconstruction will not happen for awhile.

With all that said, is there anyone else out there that is not just totally flat after their MX?

There are many women not completely flat after surgery. In your case, yes, they left extra skin for the reconstruction.

I knew I was not going to have reconstruction before the surgery and the doctor knew, so I am very flat, no excess skin or fat. It is what I wanted and what I requested. From your words I am guessing you want to retry the reconstruction so you would want to keep that extra for when needed.

I sure am sorry that things went wrong for you. Right now you have to consider you are "healing", and this is one step towards your goal of reconstruction. If at some point reconstruction would not be right for you, of course doctors can make it all neat and flat.

You have been through so much, you are no doubt overwhelmed from all that has happened. Allow yourself time to heal, time to figure out the next step...I wish you the very best.
