Lymphedema?

I had a BMX on October 30th of last year 6 nodes taken as well. I've gotten use to the numbness and was told to expect it. However, the last few weeks there has been pain involved too. Last night I went to the ER because it felt like someone was driving a spike through my right hand (Side the nodes were removed from). The right side is slightly more swollen and has a bluish tint to it with a blue line that runs down my wrist to the elbow on the inside of my forearm. But the main issue for me is the pain that cannot be controlled. Even now, typing is painful.

raysnbucs, what did they tell you at the ER? Did they run any tests, or give you any meds? What you're describing doesn't sound like lymphedema, but an infection is a possibility, or even cording (axillary web syndrome).

Hope you post what happened- with pain and the color change you describe they should check out your circulation and ensure its adequate with no compromise.
