ok so I am getting a second opinion due to the red devil not working and my tumor actually growing while on chemo.  I was just about to go into surgery for a radical "M" on left breast.  Can anyone throw me so ideas about this entire procedure.  In the beginning I was only told, "you have, you need" so I went with the doctors opinion. Now I find out the cancer was not responding to the treatment and with what I have gone through with the chemo, the next thing the doctor wanted to do is take out all of my lymph nodes but they are not cancerous along with the redial "M".  Just looking for a little talk with others that may have or are going through the same type of circumstances.

The breast surgeon we used was highly trained on lymph nodes and as such was able to due the biopsy by only removing two nodes both were negative. For that we were very greatful. As well as having a skilled Breast surgeon I would make sure she is good at doing the lymph node biopsy and removal. Our Breast surgeon actually specialized in lymph nodes, not sure of all the details but served us well. Best of luck.
