Switching oncologists and protocols...AFTER STARTING

My oncologist put me on 6 cycles of FEC 100 and Taxotere, I discussed with her the chance of permanent hair loss with taxotere and she will not make any changes ...take it or leave it... I have had 1 infusion, can I switch plans even after receiving 1 treatment...what if the other oncologist wants to put me on a different plan, how would thatwork? I am in pieces about this please let me know what you think.
Before I started I discussed cold caps with her and she said NO way, now that I have started without one can I use one for the taxotere part of the treatment?

By all means get a second opinion from another oncologist if it helps you sort out what decisions to make. The information from the second oncologist will help answer your questions, and decide whether you should switch oncologists and/or treatment plans.
