Teresa M. Buescher, MD for Diep flap

Has anyone had her as their surgeon and get the diep flap? What was your thoughts and experience? Thank you!

Dr. Buescher did my DEIP reconstruction on April 4, 2014, following a skin sparring double mastectomy earlier this year. I LOVE her. I am so pleased with the results. Pain was minimal due to her pain management protocol. She cares about each patient and will take as much time as you need. I can honestly say I will miss her when I am finished with the remaining, minor procedures. Everyone in the plastics department at KU has been awesome. I highly recommend Dr. Buescher. She was well worth the long wait.
