Diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer

Hi All,

My friend was recently diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Cancer runs in the family. What are her chances of recovery? Is this highly recurrent? She is only 30 years old. Chemo will start soon so very worried. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Until you hear more from other members with their experiences, you can learn much more about triple negative (TN) at the main Breastcancer.org site, in the Triple-Negative Breast Cancer section. 

    There's also a very active and supportive Triple Negative forum here on the discussion boards, where you (and your friend!) can connect with others dealing with TN.
