Hello everyoneI had surgery on Dec. 30th and I didn't really have any pain afterwards. Yesterday, I moved around too quickly and I feel a tingling sensation at the scar area. Has anyone ever experienced that?

I had a BMX w/node removal. Did you have any nodes removed? (When you post, it helps if we know what kind of surgery you had in your post, so we don't have to search for it on bc.org).

I had kind of zaps and tingles as well. I was told it was from nerves being cut or damaged and/or regenerating.I still get them 3 years later, occasionally.

Regardless, let your surgeon know, they need to be kept in the loop with what is going on with you. It may nerve regeneration or damage, or something else. Always good to check with your doctors.

You can tell I am new to the site. I fail to update you on my surgery. In order to remember to include my type of surgery, I am going to develop a lead in so I don't forget in the future. It can also serve as my journal entry. Thank you for responding; I will get in touch with my surgeon. Take care.

Lead in: Entering simplypoised, diagnosed on 10/23/13, getting well from lumpectomy surgery done on 12/30/14, negative sentinel node biopsy results, meeting with oncologist on February 3, 2014. Surgeon has suggested radiation for sure.
