Pain at site of scars well after breast reconstruction

Hi, I have recently been feeling a "burning" sensation at the site of my surgical scars.  My mastectomies were in May of 2010, and final exchange surgery was in November of 2010, so it's almost 4 years.  I'm concerned that I would be feeling this now.  Anyone?

I would suggest calling your breast surgeon on Monday. From what I have seen on discussion boards, breast surgeons are more likely to help with post breast cancer pain. I have read of many plastic surgeons brushing off patient pain (not saying all are like that, just my general impression is most.

If you have an oncologist, maybe call them, too.

I have lots of severe pain from my BMX on 1/11/11 and a recent thoractomy but my pain started from the minute I woke from surgeries that nicked nerves and damage them, plus lymphedema.

I hope you can find something out from your doctors.
