Phytoestrogen?

I'm reading conflicting information about plant estrogens.  I'm wondering if anyone can comment.  Are they safe for Er Pr+ Breast Cancer patients? I've read some articles that say they protect against recurrence.

I think what I've come away with concerning the phytoestrogens issue is that estrogen levels in plants tend to be rather weak.  So, for me, I don't worry about it too much and just eat everything in moderation; however, there are others on the board who prefer to avoid them completely.

SelenaWolf,  I agree and am of the same mind as you  in this regard. I've also been reading that phytoestrogens are good for those with breast cancer in helping to protect from recurrance.

I also have consulted with an herbologist who has a doctorate in herbology.  The risks of not taking phyto estrogens, I believe, as she does far outweigh not taking anything.
