finished the first two weeks of radiaton!!

I have survived the first two weeks of radiation. WHEW WHOO!!!   22 more to go!! HURRY UP!! I am tired of being tired. & I find myself wanting to eat more, that's not good as I have weight issues before all this. How is everyone else doing? I seem to really be fine.  It's a little annoying that people think I am like a "china doll" I might break.  It is just weird how people say "your still working?" Yes I am. and how I feel fine, and they think I shouldn't be fine.???? Is it me, Maybe Im getting cranky, I don't know. I am looking forward to our 25th wedding anniversary next month,  Myrtle Beach here we come!!! Have great weekend !!!!!!!!!!

hello msmaples congrats on completing your first two weeks. I go Monday for my initial visit for a chest ct and whatever else they do before you start radiation. What should I expect because I'm almost as fearful as I was before I started chemo?

msmaples, congratulations on your first two weeks, and of course on your upcoming anniversary!

Hydavis, as well as the info you'll get from other members here, the main Breastcancer.org site's section on Radiation Therapy can be a big help to learn what to expect from your treatments. The Winter 2013-2014 Rads thread is a great place to connect with others who are at the same place you are in treatment.

radiation is walk in the park! U spend more time getting there changing clothes then 10 minutes treatment time WE got this!!! My fist time there was longest about one hour thirty minutes they have to set u up after that it's ten minutes for treatment I told the techs they need a tv on the ceiling lol you will be fine keep in touch!!!

Congrats msmaples! I'm glad your doing so well!  I start next week.  My husband has also been battling cancer (lymphomas from immunosuppressants for liver transplant) and our 30th anniversary is coming up in April.  We hope to both be in remission at that time and plan a vacation to the Florida keys
