I want to wish all my alternative sisters a very Happy New Year! May we all enjoy great health in 2014! I also really hope that people feel comfortable and safe posting here. I know the conventional sisters come here and sometimes give us a hard time.  Sorry, but I call it like I see it.

If you don't agree with our treatment choices, fine. Please don't hide behind, "but we're looking for evidence."  We all want evidence, and obviously, the stakes are higher for us.  The negativity and naysaying isn't helping.

I know I'm not a moderator or anything. I really just don't want anyone to feel unsafe posting their questions and ideas. We all need support, especially going the alternative route. After I chose to do no further conventional treatment, my "team" started treating me differently. Thank God I was able to change medical groups. I have an oncologist who respects my choices.

Anyway, does anyone have any New Year's resolutions with their alternative treatments and plans? Mine is to take my supplements religiously.

To all my breast cancer sisters (alternative, conventional, and complementary) -  may you be happy, healthy, and blessed in 2014!!!

    Happy New Year to you too!!  My goal is to get cancer-free for 2014. I am currently complimenting my traditional therapy with the Bill Henderson Protocol with great results so far and want to keep up the momentum! I hope to go strictly alternative in a few months! Only recently have I been convinced that my Oncologist is not in it for me.

    With regard to your comment here;

    I must say I have been a bit shocked by some of the snarky posts by a few sisters. I agree with you that its all about respecting choices and just because one thing is right for one doesn't mean its right for another.

    That's great! I never heard of the Bill Henderson Protocol, but it sounds like it's working for you!

    Exactly. I don't get the negativity at all. We make our choices because it's our bodies. And whatever the results (positive or negative), we are the ones who have to live with them.

    Best wishes for good health for all of us - present company included! =)

    Happy New Year, Alternative sisters!

    I have the Bill Henderson book here but I haven't started it. Thanks for the reminder. I gather he's been around a long time.

    Happy New Year ladies! Is Bill Henderson the one who advocated for the use of proteolytic enzymes? I remember reading about him and the enzymes. Let us know if you glean some good info from the book.
