Thankful to God for this past year

Godspeed

New Years Day, I am thankful to God for the time granted to us last year.

Time to love my wife, and be loved by her.

Heath enough to have great times and experiences.

Love, smiles, trials, and perseverance that allowed our love to continue to grow.

Friends and family that were there to share this time with.

Enough food and shelter that peaceful times were possible.

Enough work and income to increase our ability enjoy each other.

A country and a church where we can freely learn more about the nature of Love.

Time to get closer to a God that can seem far away.

The opportunity to witness others find faith, and with it salvation, hope, and love.

There are no guarantees that we will see tomorrow, but we saw last year.

I hope this year allows similar opportunities, nevertheless let God's will be done.

I am thankful to Christ for the time granted us last year.
