Scared of Recurrance

I'm 8 weeks post rads and have developed pain and tenderness in my breast as well as some thickening in the breast tissue. I've also noticed some redness that is new. Should I be concerned about a recuurance or is this normal post Rad reaction?

Your symptoms could be as a result of radiation but to be sure I suggest that you ask your radiation oncologist.

I echo the suggestion.  Radiation continues to change the breast for several months, so these could simply be late effects/scar tissue.  The radiation will cause some scarring.
