    HI,

As a newbi to LCIS,and being 47 yrs old, looking back I found it agonising, time consuming, draining of

energy for endless biopsies, sitting in wating rooms at the docs etc. I know 3 friends that just died in breastcancer,

and all around people tell me of there friends etc that die of this BC. Personally, why wait for it to appear,? -

it may be  too late due to malpractice etc.  I hope the pbm ladies feel a true peace in mind, skipping all those biposies

and mammos (with radiation) etx. I have true respect for the other ladies too, with 6 month check up.

I wish to have control of my body, not have doctors decide over me.

Mastectomy may be scary, I stayed one night and took the drains away after 2 nights.

What if men had a LCIS in their prostates? They would go for best aggressive treatment.

    Take care.      Glorianna
