Embracing the gray!

hi everyone, I could use some advice. Prior to hair loss I was a slave to colouring my hair ash blonde. When my hair started to grow in I thought that I would see how I like gray-well so far I love it! This new lots of salt with a sprinkle of pepper has thrown my own sense of colouring off and I'm not sure what colour eyeglass frames to get. I fell in love with a style that comes in matte silver or matte gold but was only able to try on the gold. Previously this would be my metal choice but I don't think it looked right. Is there a "rule" as to what colour goes with gray?
