feline, that bird is beautiful! I love bird watching, doing it now actually. I'm watching the grackles trying to run the cat off for the cat food. Silly birds, don't they know they could be the next meal for the cats?

GmaFoley, I have to look close to tell the difference from the house finch and the purple finch. No reddish brown crown on the purples :-)
