Change in breast size from radiation therapy

My BS said radiation treatment would shrink the size of my breast, but didn't say how much. I am a double D cup and would welcome a reduction in size.

Can anyone tell me how much their breast changed in size? And is it permanent?

I would also love to hear what happened to other big girls.  I finished radiation at the beginning of December and after the skin finished sloughing off and repairing, I have noticed shrinkage.  I started bigger than DD (even after the lumpectomy) and my RO thinks it will end up a D.  She says it will take almost another year to finish shrinking.  I am very excited to see where it ends up and then have my other breast reduced to match.
