Actonel kicked my @$$, how about yours?

I was recently put on a once a month oral form of Actonel. The first month I took it, felt a bit queezy for a few hours and that was it. This month (my second month) I felt like I had been hit by a truck. So sore and achy all over that it felt like my hips were about to pop out of my sockets, 102 degree fever, just awful.

I've decided that I'll no longer be taking this medication and will talk to my docs about it.


How about you?? Similar experiences?

Not everyone tolerates the bisphosphonates, especially since they must be taken on an empty stomach.

Hope you weren't also experiencing influenza just when you tried the second dose. The "flu" season is starting early this year but it's not too late to get immunized!
