Hello everyone. For about a year I've been writing a breast health blog for those who are "not diagnosed but worried," especially for young women (before menopause). It's about all the breast health "stuff" that isn't breast cancer.

I discovered this discussion board today, read entries in this Forum and thought some of my posts might help. Today's post discusses the breast biopsy finding of sclerosing adenosis, but I write about breast pain, benign lumps, mammograms and other imaging studies, biopsy fears, BRCA1 & 2, breast cancer risk, breast cancer prevention, and all sorts of other topics. I also cover the in-between conditions of DCIS and lobular neoplasia.

I'm a retired RN, adult nurse practitioner and nursing instructor. Before becoming an NP, I worked as a breast health nurse at a university breast care center and have also written books on both breast health and breast cancer (plus personally experiencing lots of distressing benign breast changes and being a breast cancer survivor of almost 25 years!).

Anyway, my website/blogsite is http://breasthealthforyoungwomen.com and my facebook page is breast health for young women, which gives links to new posts.

Hope I can be a resource.
